Emerald City Comicon and... Beauty and the Beast!

Emerald City Comicon is coming soon!  Mark your calanders March 1-3, 2013 in Seattle, Washington... I'm an invited guest by good friend and Covention Director Jim Demonakos.  Since its inception in 2009, they produce an art book and auction called Monsters & Dames which have raised over $35,000.00 for Seattle Children's Hospital, a premier child health care & pediatric center, recognized as one of the leading hospitals for children.  Here's my entry, my version of "Beauty and the Beast"  Click here for more info about the book and auction.  The black and white ink version will be for auction.  The color version will be in the book.  For those of you that can make it see you there!

The Sneer...

Here's a project I did for my buddy Wally Wingert, voice actor and the announcer of the Tonight Show!  He's got quite a collection at his home which he calls Planet Wallywood, it's a museum of memorabilia and collectables, a real walk down memory lane.  Included in his collection are some of  original costumes like the original Andy Kaufman costume on the mannequin shown.  He asked me to sculpt a snear on a head cast of Kaufman to display the costume.  Seen here is the before, after and the final, molded and finished by the very talented Jim Ojala!  Read all about it here at Wally's site!
