Colleague, Animator/Storyboard Artist and Director Doron Mier has a great blog called 'The Mechanics of Inspiration', which is about the creative process in different art forms, he explains it well in this video.  He has a post called 'Process of Pros', in which he explains and has great observations of artists work in the industry.  He's done one on yours truly, thanks Doron!  Make sure to join his newsletter ( to the right of screen) and check out his blog for some fun facts, a variety of artwork, and... the mechanics of inspiration!

Star Trek Juan Ortiz Style!

Check out these fabulous Star Trek posters here done by my very talented friend Juan Ortiz!  Juan is a master of design.  He's done a poster for all 80 episodes, one better than the other... this is just the first batch!  And, here's a great interview with him all about them!  Great job Juan!
