My good friend, colleague and artist extraordinare, including the publisher of Silver Comics Juan Ortiz has a great new blog called The Disney Store Shelves, a wonderful behind the scenes look at the process in making those neat Disney Merchandise items such as Snow Globes, Statues, Prints, etc... Juan is one of the head folks behind the magic, he has worked in the industry for over 22 years at all the major studios, producing some of the most memorable items around, check out his personal site here! An incredibly versatile and talented artist, Juan's range is from the cartoony to the super cool. Also check out his Silver Comics website which hosts a wonderful array of super characters.
